Title: LCD (or other hexadecimal display equivalent) question
Post by: crtrrss on January 17, 2015, 11:30:43 pm
Has anyone ever gotten a LCD (or other hexadecimal display equivalent) to work with MAME or any FE? I would love to get one of those golden tee score displays or something similar to display the game name or something like that, but I have no idea how that would work. Any advice?

You wouldn't use MAME, you'd normally use a FE to do that. Hyperspin, for example, can push out to a BetaBrite.

OK. Thanks man. I just watched a few video demos and I am very impressed with BetaBrite's effect.

I would like to publish information on a smaller LCD, preferable a HD44780 device and via an Arduino board. Is there any FE yet that supports that? I have only found old COM and LPT port examples...
