Title: I need a Popeye Harness
Post by: johnrt on January 12, 2015, 01:39:14 pm
Anyone know where I can find a Popeye harness? (None on ebay for the moment). Or a JAMMA adapter for that board. Is it the same connector/harness for all the Nintendo boards? (DK, Mario Bros...)

There is a pdf copy of the manual which has the wiring diagram on page 16 available ( https://archive.org/details/popeyeoperationmanualtpp2-uptpp2-up-us ) that might help.

Thanks for the link!

I found this:

Does anyone know what "built-in video color inverter" is?

Does anyone know what "built-in video color inverter" is?

He also sells the video inverter and sound board separately and in it's manual ( https://www.mikesarcade.com/estore/datasheets/NinInvAmp.pdf (https://www.mikesarcade.com/estore/datasheets/NinInvAmp.pdf) ) it states :

Quote
This board is a great solution for using a new monitor with your Nintendo Boards. It’s
also can be used as a color corrector for Nintendo Sanyo and Sharp monitors, allowing
you to use them with standard game boards.

So looks like the video inverter board allows adjusting the RGB setting and allows using newer monitors in the system or nintendo monitors in other systems.
