Title: ami R-94
Post by: bsullivan6 on January 04, 2015, 08:41:17 pm
I just had one of these given to me. The CD option is there but not installed. The lights work, and I love the looks of it. It doesn't seem to have power to the record player. My father says that my step mom could make this work, but she passed in a car accident and she took the secret with her. Any ideas on where to start?  It is giving eror code 37, I do have the manual,  and it will be helpful after I get the pages back in order. If I understand what I am reading correctly, I am going to be learning about using that sodering tool i purchased a year ago, and the "connector board" in the front and underneath the player where I need to start? Really hoping you have some easier suggestions!  Thanks for any help or suggestions!

93, R-94    Inner cam switch NO contact signal (pin 5 of 6) shoulderstand have been low (active) Indicating did inner cam switch had closed; However, de signaling stayed high (quiescent) longer than 30 seconds.
This error will cause phonograph to shut down until power is turned OFF and turned back ON.    1. Possibility: transfer motor LED is OFF
Probable causes: mechanical control board or wiring to motor defective
2. Possibility: transfer motor LED is ON
Probably causes: Central Control Computer or mechanical control boards; wiring from CCC to mechanical control; open circuit at inner cam switch NO contact; open circuit at inner cam switch Common.
