Title: What is the strip called on the back of a Williams CP?
Post by: Fast351 on January 03, 2015, 07:21:41 pm
So on a Williams machine, the CP flips down.  At the back of the CP is a plastic strip that looks like a Y (see crappy ASCII drawing below) that sits between the glass and the CP and holds down the edge of the CPO.

Some 3/4" plastic channel and a heat gun would probably achieve the same effect, but does anyone know what this piece is called and if I can get one similar to the Williams piece on my upright?

Not sure what the actual name of that piece is called, but I just use rubber door sweeps on my machines.  $3 from Home Depot.

Arcadeshop calls it "Williams Control Panel Molding Trim". It's $4. Had to buy one when I converted my Stargate to a Multi-Williams setup. Mounted with 3M permanent mounting tape.

I bought that same part from Arcadeshop for my Moon Patrol.
