:dizzy:
2014 was one hell of a roller coaster of a year and like many of you, life just took me away from the hobby and this site for too many reasons. A few of you have been asking me for updates on projects or inquiring about equipment to buy, and I just couldn’t break myself away enough to even breathe let alone keeps tabs on the forum.
So I wanted to write a post to formally apologize to those members trying to reach out and consolidate the insanity to one post to make it easier to ignore and move on :blah: :blah: :P
So the TLDR of it all was:
- Wife health degraded due to intense stress at her job and she needed to quit to recover.
- Picked up the slack in OT at my Job and side work.
- Coming back from our anniversary trip, found we had new ---uvula--- neighbors who liked to party all hours at all nights. :timebomb:
- Management at complex dragging their feet to address the craziness, and I like sleep :banghead:, so decided up the timetable in getting our first house in the southeast.
- The absolute cluster :censored: that is getting your first house. (I’m sure anyone who has gone through this process can relate).
- Find out mid searching that wife is preggers with our 2nd son. :o (Apparently the OB deciding to change her birth control Px gave us the answer on when to start trying again) We are due in April.
- Delays in closing, so we move in days before family is to visit during Thanksgiving
- Fix all the things! (That is all the things you find cobbled together with said house after moving in).
- Just holiday insanity
And all this was in the span of the last 9 months. I’m sure I’m missing out some things but those are the highlights.
But at the end of it all, we now have a nice home with acreage and a pad with hookups ready for when I can start construction on an in-law visit suite/arcade building behind the house. That won’t be for a looong while yet, but I’ll have projects to work on until then.
So now that a lot of the insanity at home and work has calmed down (at least until the baby is born) I’ll be better at keeping tabs and updating things here. I’ll update my FT/FS page soon since I have waaay too much equipment that I have to get rid of to make space in storage. So keep an eye out for that this weekend.
In the meantime, I hope to get my “Stars War” cab finished and a Fix-it-felix bartop done for son #1 before son #2 arrives. I was able to acquire a Baby Pac-Man for cheap and plan to get that shopped and a couple as yet to be announced projects going once my garage is unpacked, and I actually have a workshop space to work in finally.
Updates and more soon to come.

Thanks for the support everyone. It really means allot.
Good lord, life does just pull you away some times. Wife in 3rd trimester now so doing as much as I can around the house to keep her from causing issues (high risk). Again sorry for the delay but finally updated my FS/FT with some news and hopefully a good deal to anyone needing equipment. Just a couple weeks late.
And the wife makes AWESOME cookies, BTW :P People around the office prefer to get tins of those then anything else from me around the holidays. Maybe I'll have to post a few of her recipes since she is done baking for awhile.

Well that is even BETTER!!!!.... Welcome back my good friend. ::)

Cant go wrong with a house in the south east.
Unless it's a house in the south central. Kentucky, that is.

Sometimes it's good to get all the crummy stuff in at once so them you can recover and grow from the experiences and hopefully not have to deal with any of it in the future. Best of luck
