Title: Fiber Optic Cable

This may get moved, I wasn't sure where to put it.  I am looking for bare fiber optic cable, no sheild or wrap or connectors.  Just a place where I can aquire rolls or spools of the fiber optic strand.  I have looked all over the Net and can not find a supplier.  Lots for network fiber optic with wrap and connectors, but not bare stock.  Anyone?

Are you looking for "true" communications grade fiber?
If so it is available from most manufacturers in bulk...(Very expensive however.)

If your looking for the "fiber optic cable" used in those lamps/christmas ornaments etc...It isn't really communications optical fiber, it's just fine lucite rod.

http://www.tapplastics.com (http://www.tapplastics.com) carries some lucite rod if your looking for that.
