Title: Xtension Classic Arcade Cocktail Cabinet with Widescreen 23"

Finally got all my stuff in to build my cocktail cab with the 412 in 1 Jamma Board.  Im a little concerned about the 23" monitor going in there..  Hows it going to look?

Thats the size made for the cabinet, has anyone else done this?

So I went ahead and built this thing..  Looks good..  Joysticks are kinda clunky..  Did I put them together wrong or are the just cheap?  Only paid about 12 bucks each I guess they are cheap?

What kind of joysticks did you buy? You want IL Eurosticks for American style. Happ sticks are pretty junky now.

If you're going to use an LCD in a cocktail cabinet, it almost has to be an IPS or VA monitor. The viewing angles are going to be disastrous with a TN panel in a cocktail cabinet.

Its am IPS monitor, looks good.  I put it in 4:3 mode, everythings just right.  The Joysticks are from Dirt cheap trading.. Think its called the HAPP Ultimate.   Seem ok just very clunky..  they work but dont feel like they should to me.

I'll order some of the Eurosticks.  Guess Paradise is the only place to get those things?

I've seen IL Eurosticks from some German store, too. If you like Japanese style, it's probably worth checking out Sanwa sticks, too.

When you say "clunky" do you mean the clicky sound?  Are you looking for something smoother/quieter with leaf switches?

Not sure if you are running in 8-way or 4-way mode, but they offer both.

Its clunky..  Like it sticks..  Clicking is cool..  sticking is not..  ;)

Im just playing the classics, Pac man, Ms Pacman, Galaga..  Kids liked the joysticks with the balls..  They are whining about the different kind.  Can you put those on the IL Eurostick?  or do I need to go Sanwa?
