Hi,
I got a B&O Beovision MX7000 setup with ArcadeVGA. The picture looks very nice when using MAME and WinUAE, but I find it quite difficult to calibrate. One can only access the service menu when on the tv setting so adjustments must be made in blind. :P
Can anybody recommend a good brand and model of tv for use as an arcade monitor? One that isn't so fiddly. :)

What size? Sony TV's are generally good, have RGB inputs often have service menu via remote. Although they often have quite a square tube (Trinitron) which might not be desirable if you want old school looks.

The Beovision has a nice size of 28". A little smaller would be okay too. I've been contemplating trying a trinitron. I would settle for a nice and clear picture.

That's quite strange. I have a beovision 1 and the service menu / geometry settings work fine and show the actual game. Do you have the service manual for that tv? It may help.

You could go for a Sony PVM or BVM (20" is still to be found for a decent price).
Alternatively, something like the Pioneer PDP-402 is also nice (40" 4:3 Plasma).
