Is it just me, or did they rip the Moon Patrol riff for the music at the end of their commercials?

:)

I can't remember the name of song I heard the other day but it was a song from the seventies that I swear had the sound effects from Galaga where the aliens swoop down from the top of the screen and shoot at you.

It's all over the place I guess. Good Day Sacramento plays a lot of 8 and 16 bit music during their social portions. Off the top of my head I recognized music from Genesis Toejam & Earl 2 and NES SMB (castle level) and LoZ. There have been others but I can't think of them.

A local school plays part of the music from SMB mixed in to their school anthem.

Its not just a riff off MOON PATROL, it sounds to me like the exact same tune.

Play the "Teen Driver" video for the extended song. That is the same thing.
