Hey, this is to all the users in Atlanta,
I am not sure if anyone remembers this or not, but there used to be an arcade/Video Game parts store on Marietta Blvd, I went by there some time ago and it was gone. Does anyone have any info on it? Guess it is like the rest of them, just went out of business.

Can't even find a real arcade anymore. :hissy: I doubt there are many repair shops for them left. They would have to resort to online sales to expand their customer base.
Only real arcade machines left near me are:
Galaga/ms pac man - Seekonk Grand Prix, seekonk ma 33 miles
Galaga/ms pac man - Dave and busters, providence ri 28 miles
There used to be a tiny arcade in the Waterford CT mall (38 miles)with a pinball and I think x-men or something that was broken. Recently, it turned into an apple sore.
What's left of arcades, if any is left, is lame ticket machines oriented towards little kids. Or the same machine like cruisin USA with different graphics so there is many versions.

When you got there, was it some sweaty guy in a garage pissed that you had disturbed him from his chat rooms?

Well as far as arcades go there are a couple of Retro bars and then there is Dave and Busters here. As far as going to the mall to the "Arcade", yea those days are gone.

Never been to the ones in Manhattan. They are new. Less than a year old I think.

Not unless he moved in the last few years, I wanna say this was like a mini HAPP, but they sold everything relating to Arcade/Video Games. They even had an unfinished cabinet sitting on the top of the back counter, Wanted $2k for it, but that was years go. No big deal.

Better than the one in San Francisco on the pier. Was all amped up to see it only to find the place is a real dog house. I get what the guy is doing but a penny mech has no business being positioned right next to a TMNT cab. And I doubt he rotates any out as those poor cabs are seeing some real wear and tear, beyond even the worst cig burns in a bar.

That is probably worse to see than nothing at all....
