Saw a segment on last night's evening news about his passing.

Vice posted this documentary this morning.

Neat guy.  I hadn't heard about him before.
The segment on the evening news said while serving in the US Army he would build radios out of parts pulled from captured German mine detectors.

He was one of the few I would have liked to meet.
