Title: James Spader as Ultron in New Avengers?
Post by: Deadpool on December 03, 2014, 02:23:23 pm
How about James Spader as Ultron in the new Avengers movie!  For those of you who watch The Blacklist, this might be a difficult transition for you as your hero goes from a dry humored international playboy to a cyber Villain!  The trailer seems promising but for some reason I am having a hard time listening to Ultron and not thinking of The Blacklist.

Is this just me or have other of you experienced the same thing?

Good day!

I don't watch The Blacklist, nor do I know anything about Ultron.  Though I am a fan of James Spader, so I shouldn't have any troubles watching.

His best villain role was in Pretty In Pink.

I'd say Less than Zero.

If he would have played Rip like the way Bret Easton Ellis wrote him in the book, that would have been bad ass.

Note: not his fault, btw - the book deviated from the movie waaaaay too much.

Every time he appears on screen, my wife and I say, "Smirrrrrrk..."

Interesting.  Is the book worth a read?

I would definitely recommend watching the blacklist for anyone who like a very deep and complicated story line.  I am not much into tv shows, however this one is something different.  And Ultron is simply a robot created by Ant Man, well created and programed in his own image who subsequently developed a sense or being and decides to take over the world.  But that is the Marvel nerd in me speaking :)
