Title: Is there a decent way to play 360 degree mame games on a G25/G27?
Post by: Loafmeister on November 21, 2014, 03:39:59 pm
Hi,

While searching for this answer on google, I came across one non-arcade controls post that indicated using "an app which maps the controls to a PC-wheel accordingly".  Maybe my google-fu is poor in this case  :-[, at any rate I know most will just say "you have to use a 360 wheel for a 360 game" and that's fair, but just want to know if anyone's found a way to play games like Pole Position II, the sprint series and especially Buggy Boy with a G25 type wheel.

Appreciate the assistance.  Mame is awesome and I won't blame it for the inability to play a game designed for one controller to play with another.  Still, would love to play these classics even if the control isn't perfect, I'd settle for "good enough".

The general answer to that is no.

Several threads have crossed this path.

Certainly but there is that mention of an app comment which I'd love to know more about.  Hope someone reading this who is aware of this app can chime in :(
