Title: Can anyone identify which arcade game uses these pedals?
Post by: zallax on November 19, 2014, 07:43:41 pm
I picked up a pristine set of Gas/Brake arcade pedals from E-Bay the other day.  I plan on installing them in my MAME cabinet.  However, I am slightly confused with the mounting bracket at the bottom of the gas pedal.  It looks like it is mounted on the underside, unlike how I have them in the pic below.  But when I push down the pedal, the bracket slides horizontally making me wonder how it was secured but allowed movement.  Does anyone know what game these pedals were used on so that I can figure out how there were mounted?  I was told these were from Sega units.

Super Monaco GP (http://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=9919)

You can see the assembly in the standup photo. Not sure if it's used in the sitdown. You can find the manual at Crazy Kong (http://www.crazykong.com/) in the Manual section (hint: it's under S.  )

The manual doesn't really tell you much so I'm not entirely sure if the hinge is attached. I assume that it would be and it does appear to be in the "open" position rather than the "closed" position. It is hard to tell in the photo and I didn't look too closely at the manual.

Good Luck.
