Title: Cd100-C Amp static noise
Post by: actman on November 15, 2014, 07:37:53 pm
Noticed recently that when a CD is not playing I can hear amp noise. It's not very loud have to put my ear to the speaker. Louder on one side then other. I thought the amp out is turned off between selections so there should be no sound at all.  Wonder if a cap kit would clean it up.

Hi actman,

I would check out the mute circuit to see if infact it is muting correctly. Do you have anything plugged into the auxillary input/output or any other interface that is disabling the mute circuit?

Regards

I do have the auxiliary board that I run to an external amp. I guess it keeps the amp turned on.
Would recapping quiet it down any?

Im looking for parts for the 250 watt amp as well.    Im guessing its going to have to be piece mailed together.    However, im trying to find chematics and such... no luck .

You buy a service manual for you jukebox from Ebay. It has the parts for the AMP and all the schematics.
