Title: Game types list?

Are there any game type list / or better yet a list of games by type? Like Vertical, side scroller, fighter, driving? I ask because I want to make 4 mini cabs, one for vertical (one player), one for horizontal (one player), one for driving / spinner, and one for 2 player fighting / co-op (horizontal).

Grab category.ini which has categories and the games within them.  Several FE's will use this info to sort your games.

Download and setup Mawler. It is a huge resource so spitting out lists of games by whatever criteria you need.
