I have an issue with my cabinet, and I'm hoping Sanwa buttons will help.
Basically the side of one of my CPs has 30mm holes for "flipper" buttons for pinball games. I was originally going to use Ultralux buttons (which match the buttons on my CPs) for them, but it turns out there's not enough room behind them. The button housing fits, but not with the switch mounted. (I have about 1.75" from the front face of the panel, the wood is half inch ply, so I have 1.25" behind it) The Ultralux buttons need a half inch more than I have room.
The Sanwa buttons are clearly a lot shorter -- 3/4" or so.
What I can't tell is if the threaded versions -- the OBSN-30 -- has enough threads to fit a half-inch thick panel. Anyone know for sure?
If so, anyone know a reputable place that sells them? There's lots of the non-threaded kind on Amazon with prime, so I can get them quickly, but none of the threaded ones. Not many places seem to sell them.
If they don't fit panels that thick, has anyone tried using the non-threaded with glue, like hot glue or something?

Have you looked at the Ultimarc Goldleaf buttons? I had a similar issue with space on a bartop, and those buttons solved it for me.

No measurements or drawings on their site, so I have no idea what size they are.

They fit your standard 1 1/8 (22mm) holes.
