I have a Wells Gardner d9200 that has a bow on the bottom of the screen... Its like pincushion but vertical and only on the bottom of the screen... Anyone out there have any experience with these monitors? I was told it may be a tube issue... (I'm hoping its not)...Will a recap help? If so, which caps should I go for? Thanks in advance...

you should be able to adjust that out in the extended menu
hold down and select to access factory settings

I tried that but there isn't anything I can adjust? What am I looking for? There is pincusion for the left and right side but nothing for top and bottom curve...

I know this post is old, but I'm sure the problem will be seen for generations to come. Is it anything like this picture ?

So... How do i fix the problem? I think my d9200 has a non removable yoke... Its bonded to the tube.

yes it should be bounded
there is a small test u can do
CATUION u will be around some high volt's
were glove's here,with it running
try to shift the youke up and down, see if it move's ? if it dose it means
the glue has come free, this is normal in them unit's,and is fixable,
as a rule this turn's into a purity problem first, then as heat/time get to the glue
it becomes horz/vert linearity problems
the latter is what u have in the bowing
once u have done the test i spoke of get back to me,i will explain the fix
if it is the problem ?.

So I tried turning the yoke left and right and it won't budge.... No change... However I did notice I am missing what looks like a maget. First picture shows the grey ring with a rectangular magnet on top, 2nd pic shows the bottom missing magnet. I woner if getting a magnet in there will solve my problem.

These monitors had crappy capacitors installed at the factory and it is strongly advised to install a full capkit. Zanen Electronics sells kit # 260 for this model and it contains 64 electrolytic capacitors for just $9.95
