Title: Need exact dimensions for this Control Panel to make an accurate CPO?!
Post by: jLid on November 04, 2014, 02:49:29 pm
I recently acquired a cabinet from craigslist that was converted to a Street Fighter. Originally it was some Dynamo (can't remember exact name) however, it looks quite similar to the layout of the Street Fighter and looks like a common design...

The start of the P1 buttons start at exactly 6 1/16" and ends at exactly 10", if that says anything...

I think it's just a common design but I don't want to make a design that's going to be wrong. I want to design a CPO that'll fit the CP accurately.

Can anybody link me to a file to the layout that has the dimensions?

Thats a Dynamo Cut Corner cp.
Very common. You best bet is to print out some templates to make it all fit.
When measuring, don't go by the edges of buttons but go by the middle of the buttons for acuracy.

what exactly are you looking for in a cpo? are you looking for custom artwork or just generic?

Just generic, I want to be able to create an overlay graphic that'll "fit" (let's say red box around the P1 buttons) and be accurate (red box completely away from P1 buttons)

Thanks for the name, i'll see if I can find a pre-made template.

I'm looking to build a Dynamo Cut Corner CP from scratch. Any chance you could take some more measurements? Overall width and depth would help me a lot!
