Title: R86
Post by: IanS on October 30, 2014, 08:41:51 am
Good morning

I am new to all this, and not particularly familiar with electronics or jukeboxes!

My R86 seems to only play whilst set to "continuous" with the "on" position selected on the service switch.  In this mode it plays random "B" sides and does not allow me to input selections.  Up until the weekend I could make selections.

I have tried resetting the "memoric" and changing the mode to 40 minutes; 20 minutes etc, but it either displays "100" or the most popular record number in these modes and does not operate.  I have selected the "service" button and the "test" button.

Don't get me wrong, some of the "B" sides are great, and I would probably have never selected them, however I feel I need my "A" sides back now  :)

Regards

Ian

Hi Ian,

You need to test your number 1, 2 and popular swithes, with the CCC Playmaker mode switch, switched off.

If the switches meter out ok pressed then you will have a fault more than likely on the CCC.

If you were in Europe you could send us your boards for testing/repair.
We normally ask for the CCC, Mechanism Control Board & Pricing Board, but in your case we would also ask for the button bank.

Regards
Alan
