Hi
New to this forum. I have a '64 Row AMI Tropicana JBM 200 Jukebox. I would like to know if someone could e-mail me a schematic or otherwise explain the wiring from the needle head down to where the wires are soldered on to the little 7 pin plug which the wiring from, down at the Amp to the tone arm plugs into.

Thank You

Hi
Yes , I have a manual, in fact two,.... a service and a parts manual. I know that there is a schematic in it, but it is very faded. I think a more clear schematic might help understand what is going on.
There is a seven pin (male) plug which comes from the amp and plugs into the tone arm. Of the seven pins, I have determined one is not utilized, leaving 6 pins. Of the 6 pins, the following seems to be the case for their designations: (The way I have numbered them is not corresponding to the numbering of the actual plug).
1- R channel center pin of RCA plug down at Amp
2- L channel center pin of RCA plug down at Amp
3- R side shield for wiring
4- L side shield for wiring
5- R side RCA outter connection of RCA plug at Amp
6- L side RCA outter connection of RCA plug at Amp
With the Ohm meter, other than the pins which correspond to the center pins of the RCA plug , the rest read out as common. I am checking the pins with both RCA plugs unplugged from the amp. This would mean that the shields and the RCA outter plug are all common.
QUESTION:
Does it matter then which of the remaining 4 wires get soldered onto the tone arm side female plug remaining wire tabs, which all seem as common ?
Hope I was clear on my description and related question.
Thank You

Hey
Got it all figured out now . Thanks anyway. Physically traced the wires from the AMP up to the tone arm. with the trusty Ohm meter; followed the cartridge picture pin layout regarding the L, R, LG and RG pin to wire orientation in the manual. Had to re-solder at the base plug It was an ordeal. It was wrong. Sounds great now, and out of both sides.
