Caught an ad that was minutes old on CL for this thing only 2 minutes from my house. Made quick contact with the seller, 20 minutes and a Franklin later it was in my garage. A multi pac type cab was on my long term goals list, but never even considered that a super pac cab would suit my desires perfectly.

Initial unload pics. It was complete, all original and pretty damn solid with some absolutely adorable patina.

First testing of the linear power supply resulted in bad voltages. Wired in a happ switcher and pulled the power block to disconnect the supply going to the transformer that powered the old linear but left the 1:1 iso trans in use.

Grabbed a monitor from my stash to test and the board booted right up.

Installed the new monitor, pick up a new ballast and bulb for the marquee, new locks, coin door bulbs, cleaned and vacuumed.

I ordered a 60in1 purely out of curiosity (never played or saw one before) and constructed a jamma to super pac-man adapter with some pin headers I ordered from marco specialties. After whittling down the game list to 18 games (just the midway/namco stuff that goes with the cab style), I gotta say it's not a bad little board. It's cool having the slow and fast versions of all the pac games along with the others that go with the same panel layout.

Received new cpo, 6x9 speaker (one that came with it was ripped to hell for some reason), kick plate and casters.

Enjoying the hell out of this cab. Not bad for spending just under $300 total on it and fits nicely in my little collection.
good day.

I always liked the shape of the Super Pac-Man cab. Having Pac's mouth as notches so other people could see you play was neat.

Shortly after I moved the game into the house I was playing a game of Space Invaders, looked down and noticed how well placed the cut out is. Really slick little addition. I don't have much of a memory of this game from back in the day.
good day.

Thanks!! Although it's not a "full" restoration. It's the guitar collector in me that appreciates cleaning up and slappin' a new set of strings on a great beat to crap great sounding player. The original artwork and 32 years of battle scars on the cab are awesome imho.
good day.

I have the same cab sitting in storage. I plan to make mine a multipac as well. I think it's the best looking PAC cabinet. Nice find!

What kind of joystick is that? It looks like an Omni Stik.
By the way..like the Tiny Terror. I have one that I use once in awhile.

It's the original midway 4 way leaf, anything else in this cab would be a crime.
good day.

Thanks for sharing.
A few questions:
What sized monitor is that? I tried to find a listing in a manual, but didn't see it. I'm guessing its 19"
What is the overall depth of the cabinet?
What is the "top to bottom" measurement of the control panel?
Thanks.

from edge by glass to bend. 7"
Here's a pic I saw on klov recently that should help with showing the similar cab specs with the others. http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i23/windsoreight/IMG_1301_zps55b1ad2c.jpg (http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i23/windsoreight/IMG_1301_zps55b1ad2c.jpg)
