Hello All,
I have the Nintendo Dual Vs. System Upright cab, and I am having a hard time taking it apart to move it. The girlfriend wants me to put it in the basement ( which will soon be my mancave with all my games :P) Does anyone know how to take it apart and/or get it small enough to fit through a regular door?
Any comments would help, i have tried to take it apart but it seems no matter what i do it wont come apart. You can view pictures of it in my signature.
Thanks Everyone!

How did you get it in there in the first place?
-
Well it is not inside my house its in my garage, Which is no problem because the garage has a huge door, but i cannot get it inside because its bigger then the doorway.

Would it be so bad to just "rip" it apart? I mean, just label all panels, take it apart and fabricate new panels?
In other words it's a great way to do a full restoration, get some crates for the electronics etc.

Is it the 2-faced one? My buddy had one and we had little problem maneuvering it through a standard 30" door frame after popping the doors off. Maybe if you post pics we could help better.

Thank you everyone for your help in my signature is pics of it, it is the Dual Faced one. I am thinking it may be best just to fully pull it apart, its in pretty beat up condition anyway and I want to fully restore it. I am just afraid, and have read, many horror stories of breaking the wood and such. Take a look at my pictures on my form, if you can post any pictures that would be great and I would love any help you guys can provide.
Thanks!

Be careful pulling it apart. If you do pull it apart and redo it, you might want to consider splitting it into two cabinets that slide together to make one. ;)

That is a good idea! I figured it would be really hard to pull apart, but if I did pull it apart I would make it so that I could pull it apart again just incase I move and such. Thanks!
