Title: Mala does not react to any input after resuming from standby [debug.log]
Post by: heechee6 on October 14, 2014, 09:19:55 am
Hi there!

I really appreciate MaLas flexibility and had lots of fun creating my own layout. Only one thing is stopping me from presenting my cab to friends:

Mala becomes unresponsive when my PC resumes from standby (Windows 7 64bit).
After resuming the custom layout is still scrolling (so MaLa has not crashed) but no video is shown anymore.

The popup saying "Starting Mala..." is shown and does not disappear. No input whatsoever changes anything and I have to use the task manager to kill Mala. I had Debug running all the time, attached is the logfile.

At 12:21:40.37 I put the PC into standby, resuming at about 12:22:23.

I first issued the shutdown via taskmanager and pressed ok in the in-app "MALA will now exit" popup". Since nothing changed I then let windows forcibly shut down the application.

Did anybody else have this issue? Anything else I could try?

Thanks for any tips!

Interesting! I can open the context menu by right clicking, I can even change game lists but I can't exit, MaLa then says "Unexpected Error. MaLa will terminate now." It doesn't though. I can still open the context menu but I can't change game lists anymore. There is no arrow in the "select game list" menu entry anymore so I can't open the submenu with the list names. Very strange...
I wasn't using joystick control anyway but thanks for the right click tip!
