No problem at all! If I get done with work early enough, I plan on going. Takes me 1.5hrs to get there.

I might be able to go tomorrow. If anyone is there and wants to say hi, just look for the 30 y.o. with a red spy vs spy shirt.

That was a waste of time. They didnt have anything good, and what they did have was junk. I left before the auction even started.

They didnt have nearly as many machines as they have had in the past. The gas and trailer rental was a waste.. Sucks to go that far and not get anything  :banghead:

Too bad I missed you, Brian. Yeah the selection was rough. There was a nice afterburner upright, but did not want to bid more than 250.

Oh, I did meet another forum member who is still a lurker. It sounds like he will be starting a cab soon.  It was good to meet you and I look forward to your project.

I also did end up buying a silver strike bowling 2009 for $90. The whole auction was pretty much deer hunting and bowling games, so I had no problem getting one for cheap.

Well, let me put it this way. When it runs, it runs beautifully. Crisp 26" CRT, game plays flawlessly. Couldn't be happier about the condition. There is something quirky that I need to troubleshoot though. It seems that when I power it up, a number of times it doesn't output video at all. I it seems to start up just fine after I power it up once with the VGA cable unplugged, the power down and plug the cable back in. Something seems to be going on with the computer video out.

The other thing I need to figure out the operator card that it asks for to enable online scoring. I don't know if this is something I want/need/can even acquire.

oh, and I sometime between the time I payed for my cabinet at the auction, and got my trailer to the dock, some jackass stole my coin bucket. I am OCD about real coin buckets so it really pissed me off.  Lesson learned, anytime you go to an auction, take anything loose from your cab immediately before letting it leave your sight.

Yeah, there is always next time. Thanks again for the notice on the auction. I scored a cab out of it.

That sounds like an interesting problem, I would be wondering if the esr values were rising to critical mass when subjected to that on/off/on thing, anyway looks like a fun score, Congrats!!!.

I appreciate that offer, Brian! No need to rush, but if you are ever in the area, I will pay you for the bucket.

Thanks Jennifer! It looks like stpcore had a similar issue to mine, I will have to ask him if he figured the issue out. Also, I like your post before you shortened it down. I love your style. That is how a lady should talk  ;)

Giggle.... SOOO very embarrassed.... Thing is I hate crooks with a passion, The sneak thieves cut the locks on my back garage twice last year. The only thing I found missing however was a giant box of midway boards. This year they are in for a treat with the new cameras. ;)

Oh, now you are gonna make me want to drag someone out into the parking lot.  :bat

That is horrible. That makes no sense why someone would do that. It is not like the average thief has a use for midway boards. If they come back, I hope you catch them and make them pay. Maybe get one of those disc locks, they are at least much more of a pain to cut.
