Title: Mesquite Auciton (Dallas)
Post by: tmasman on December 13, 2003, 12:44:22 am
Well... I'll be there tomorrow...
I just got back from dropping off a MAME machine I'm trying to sell there tomorrow! ;)

We'll see how that goes, but is anyone else going to be there? (I know it's a bit late to ask, but I figured some of you might chime in in the morning before you head out.

I'll be there wearing my red BYOAC hat...  My MAME MAchine is the Blue one with white t-molding... (Bad paper marquee behind cruddy plexi up top...)

I basically threw this machine together in the last 2 weeks (not counting the stripping, scrapping, puttying, sanding, priming part...)

I put it together out of things I had, so it's not the best machine in the world, but it works & I tried to make it easily upgradable...

I'll post a little project page about it another day... Right now I'm tired & need to get a little rest before I go back out there tomorrow.

Later!

Nope, not gonna make it to this one.  Trying to get the two mini cabs done before vacation and I'll need the extra day.  Probably still won't get done  :-\

If possible, please post what games they have there and pricing.

Also, let us know if you see Mr. Do Rag!

I didn't make it. Too far for me this time. Plus my semester just barely ended and I went to a friend's graduation, anyways. I do want to go to another one, though. Perhaps when I have more time I'll go again.

Saw Tmas and his cab there....nice work on the cab...and me and my bud are eagerly awaiting the result of his auction.  Hope you made your reserve ;D

No games this time for me, but I picked up some old Seeburg and Rock-ola wall mounted jukes.  mostly for fun and they look cool.

I got to see a multi-williams in person.  very cool.  I ran into a co-worker of mine up there and his friend bought it for $1000.  He also bought a Ms Pac for $800, and a Tempest for $900.  man I wish had the room and that kind of $$$

Tons of pinballs there this time.

Tmas probably has a better idea of prices since he was in it for the long haul.
