Hi all: I'm thinking of ordering some side art for a cab, and being that I'm a newbie in this department I have a few questions to ask. I understand that the art is vinyl and masked. Is the application of the art to the cabinet much like a peel and stick as if it was a large sticker?
I take it that there's no trimming necessary and the side art will come "pre cut"? Have a look at the picture attached as an example: I assume that the artwork will be surrounded by extra vinyl, so to my comment earlier, is it pre cut to the perimeter of the graphics. In this case were you see the curve corners, the black portion is the "extra" vinyl and gets leave behind after the main art is peeled and stuck to the cab.
Hopefully, this made sense and it's not too bad a question

At John's Arcade (Youtube channel), he applies Dragon's Lair art. Skip ahead to 01:34:12 to see it.

Nice! THANK you for the link. Wow, a 1:41:17 long video - just like a movie! I'll probably end up watching the entire thing :)
Thanks again.

Ok, I just forwarded to the part - looks easy enough I guess. i'll soon find out.... I wonder if it's easier to flip the Cab horizontal instead of leaving it vertical for the application - anyone?
That is one nice arcade collection - I'm envious of that. Also think the D. Lair side art is sharp too.

You're probably better with a side application. That way you can step back and see if you applied it straight.
