Title: Connecting CRT Monitor to a GBS-8100 video converter.... which wires? :P
Post by: simko on September 21, 2014, 06:42:30 pm
Well everyone, all the parts and wires and all sorts of things have shown up, im ready to do some wiring!

the question is, what do i cut? :O

Ive purchased a GBS-8100 to connect VGA to CRT, and that will be connected to a downscaler which converts hdmi to VGA....

the problem is, on my crt monitor setup, i dont know what wires need to be used for the converter!

Ive taken a few pictures and pointed to some wires, i was just wondering which wires are crucial?
if you could point out which wires i need to use id greatly appreciate it!

Is in not in the manual?  It should be marked.

Let me elaborate a little more...judging by your monitor's snaps that's an A-1 from korea...there should be a sticker or something, but the instructions are here:

http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=275986 (http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=275986)

Basically it follows, from the left:Red,Green,Blue, Ground,H-Sync,V-Sync.
