I have emailed the guy about this and I am thinking about buying it, I want to pay $100, he wants to sell for $150. What do you guys think? I have the money now that I sold my Bingo pin (got $100 for it, a guy came up from Oklahoma today and picked it up).
It uses the same exact cabinet as my Maze, which means it would look great next to it.
The shaky monitor wouldn't be too hard to fix, would it?

Well, if you do go for it then you probably won't work on your console pong project. And if that happens, I won't have another console pong machine to compare the one I'm building to. I'm building mine like the red pong bartop, but haven't had luck finding the coin acceptor. It is a christmas present so it will have to be finished by then.
So lets say you buy this paddle ball. What will you do with the Cherry Master? What will you do with the pong console you bought? Your budget for a pong game has jumped from $50 to $100. So maybe you shouldn't buy.
But then again it would be cool to have and probably wouldn't be hard to fix. (really I have no clue) So on that note you should buy.
Anyways.. I haven't given you an answer so good luck.

The Cherry Master cabinet ended up being consigned to be used for Ron's Christmas Mame. It was the only suitable cab I had in stock.
I only paid a couple bucks for the Pong console, so it can simply sit in a box along with the 13" monitor I bought and patiently wait for the day that the Paddle-Ball beaves out.
I may still do a Pong console project anyway, as I could possibly be getting an Elmination (Kee version of Quadrapong) that has a totally fried PCB. I would need a 4-player console for that one though.
I am gonna call the guy tommorrow. I just like those B&W games too much to let this one slip by.

I think it looks pretty sweet and if you have the money, and have a place to put it... its a steel.
But I don't think you will get 150 out of playing it. but more showing others when they come over.
But its pong.
I looks really cool and if you have a matching cabinet... it might be worth more to you then anyone else.
