I don't know why I didn't think of this before but anyone who has built more than one machine knows that setting up the control panel layout involves lots of measuring to get everything just right. I came across an old overlay from a recycled game and once done will have the standard 6 button layout (including joystick mounting holes (not shown). Each hole will only have a 3/32" center hole so that i can lay it on my blank, clamp it down and use a center punch to imprint the layout.
Instant 6 button layout--I think maybe i'll add player 1 and 2 buttons/coins as well as pause and escape..

Is this different than what can be found on slagcoin.com, or were you not aware of the site?

No, I think the point is that he can clamp this on MDF and go to town without having to print or measure anything. Good job, menace.
