I've no idea if these systems have been discussed before.
I've been running a couple of these for around three years now. They are quite simple to assemble and operate, as long as you've a working wall box.
If anyone is interested and are unfamiliar with them, if I can, I'll point you in the right direction.

Those are very cool. I may be working on a new skin for DWJukebox....
BTW, there are some cool advertisements for these wallboxes online in old issues of Billboard Magazine. Like this one....

Thanks for that, it made interesting reading.

I just ordered this brochure to give me some good images of the wallbox and to give me something to display on the wall by my jukebox.

Well done!
That looks pretty much immaculate.
I've several photos of jukeboxes in frames around the walls of our summerhouse where I keep my 468 and 443..
Including these which might interest you. These are two of the four jukeboxes in a local up-market furniture store. The owner who is an enthusiast, provides them on "free play" for the husbands of women to play, when their wives are choosing furniture. I took them whilst my wife was choosing a very expensive soft leather "Stressless" recliner.

As well as my two jukeboxes and two 507 wall boxes, I've also got this, a Rock-Ola 504 Phonette wall box. This has unblemished chrome, but isn't working. I use it as a telephone directory. I've put bigger speakers in it, an adapter powers the lights and I play the mp3s on my laptop through it.

I've tarted this wall box up since making that video. I prised off the metal speaker grills and hammered them flat and repainted them. I junked the chrome bit in the middle as it was impossible to get the dents or scratches out and replaced it with some "sparkly" fabric.

Those are a couple of beautiful jukeboxes, there!
I figure it doesn't hurt to ask......can you possibly take a picture of one of your 507 wallboxes and send it to me? I'd like to use it as the main parts of the background for the skin that I've already started making for DWJukebox.
Ideally, a dead-square front-on shot. There are lots of images on the internet, but none of them are taken with the intent to have the titlestrip area show up as a perfect rectangle. with 90 degree corners and parallel top and bottom lines.
To get the best picture, I'd find it best to step back at least 5-7 feet from the wallbox so that there's even less camera distortion of the squareness of the image.
Otherwise, my plan is to wait for that brochure I ordered and see if I can work with that photo of the wallbox in the brochure.
Now to figure out a way to have the "2nd Digit" light illuminate when the second digit is pressed and get both of those to go out when the 3rd digit is pressed in DWJukebox.....To me, that's the coolest feature of the interface.
My email address is in my profile, if you do decide to send me a picture or two.
Thanks!

PM sent.

Thanks for the PM with the pictures. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to use them. It's just really difficult to get a good picture of a 3D rectangular object that ends up being rectangular in 2D. But I am moving forward with a couple screenshots from various YouTube videos that I've combined into the attached image. Tomorrow, I'll begin working on the touchscreen 'icons' in DWJukebox to make the buttons work, add indicator light icons and some of the marquee stuff about 3 plays for 50 cents (or whatever), and sounds...including the stepper motor.
Thanks again for sharing your setup that showed off your cool wallboxes/iPods/Stereo.
I'll bow out of here, but will post a YouTube video eventually to the DWJukebox subforum here and over at dwjukebox.com........if Chris ever notices that his forums are down.
