Title: OUT RUN 2006 sound issue on Win 7

Hi

i just put a new p.c with  Win7,on my outrun cab. I install Out Run 2006.  the game is load ok. but sometimes I had "dropout" music/sound fx problems in the game :-\

some times i only hear 2 front stereo and some times the all 5.1 channel?!

in my old xp this game run whitout any problem.

my sound card work on 5.1 channel. other games works great with  this.

is some one know about this sound problem? ???

Weird problem.

May be you have already tried ,but still try to install the sound driver again.

did it already :-\   allso there is no sound fx at all :banghead: only the soundtrack.

I have it working on Windows 8.1.  I get sound, but the volume is all over the place.  The music / soundtrack is constant, but all other sounds have random volume levels.  Sometimes LOUD, sometimes silent.  I've just learned to deal with it.  :)

You could try reinstalling DirectX 9

I remember I had this problem and solved it by installing the game on Windows XP and then copy all the folders on the C drive as if it were a portable

I changed my new computer HP Compaq 6200 Pro.  any way Do not know why they built this computer. With only two voice ports back :hissy:  IN -GREEN and OUT-BLUE in the front there is a mic.

all that dosent help me to Connect my speaker  right :-\ like my old p.c (xp).

i have 2 speaker whit sub FRONT, and for my back the same 2 speakrs whit sub. so its recozie me only 2 powers back or front. so  i get the conclusion That Hp dosent support 5.1 Surround .

then i connect all my  speaker to this card, and again in mame its ok i hear the all speakrs, but in out run 2006 no sound fx... :dizzy: when i connect only the front or the back speakres i hear ok the sound fx and the soundtrack.

I get the sound effects sometimes drop out on my XP machine when there's a gear shift, I just pause the game and unpause it and it usually gets better.
