First time name builder here. I'm pretty happy with the progress I've made so far, but I've got to admit I'm pretty stumped right now. These forums have been a great resource, but I can't quite figure out the standard way to attach the CP / box to the cabinet. Do you generally drill the box straight into the cabinet, or do you build a cross bar and drill it into that? I need it easily removable so it can fit through the doors a lot easier...
This seems like a simple problem and I'm probably just missing something -- any advice would be appreciated.

Many ways to do it -- your best choice depends on cab design, how you want everything to go together, and how you want it to come apart. :dunno
What is your current design? (preferably with :pics)

^^^^^^+1 to pics. Show use the cab you are connecting the cp to.

Alright, here are some pictures. It looks like he probably had his CP attached to that metal thing... it connects to the clamps that are already installed on the cabinet. I haven't seen anyone on here use that sort of set up though, so I'm not entirely sure the best way to use it. It's probably at too much of an incline for my liking... my guess is I could build a box that sort of flattens out the slope a bit, and then connect the box to the metal thing?
