Title: [SOLD] FS: JAKKS Plug & Play Ms. Pac-Man - $13 shipped [Phoenix, AZ]
Post by: yotsuya on September 05, 2014, 12:21:14 am
I have a JAKKS Plug & Play Ms. Pac-Man for sale. Hack it up and use it for a mini-cab for your kids. Search here for "JAKKS Ms. Pac-Man

It plays the following games:

Ms Pac-Man
Galaga
Pole Position
Xevious
Mappy

This is one with the twisting joystick for Pole Position. I've seen guys on here make mini-control panels with steering wheels.

It's in used condition, but in great physical shape. See photo for condition. [SOLD]!!!

For $13 it's hard to go wrong !!

Haven't looked inside one of those but the Pacman one made a great little mini bartop with a 7" DVD secondary screen and the unit runs on even a 5v source so you can tap into a USB plug or I used a 5V voltage regulator tied off of the 12V source used for the screen (one day might see about putting an old laptop battery inside so it can truly be a portable unit)

and the unit was fairly easy to solder since everything was well marked on the PCB and they had nice larges pads to solder onto

Sure thing. PM me for details. BTW, I haven't forgotten you and that other item - I just need to track it down! I put it in storage and need to find the box.

I like this plug n play in particular because the attract mode will play forever. This unit does not "shut off" when untouched for 6 minutes like the newer plug and play unit that has more games and keeps high scores. Hacking the tiny wires is lots of fun! I use a switching power supply and crank up the 5v to get it close to the 6v that the unit wants (4 aa batteries).
