I am having an issue when I launch a game, I get the dos pop up screen and then my entire screen goes blank and nothing happens. I did the same install on an older computer with the same files and it worked just fine. I am by no means a computer wiz and I am just starting to get into this cool stuff. Any help in getting the video thing to work would be great. Not sure what kind of info you need from me so here are the basics...
windows 7 service pack 1 32 bit
intel pent 4 cpu 2.80
1GB mem
All files I used are the latest and greatest.
Help please...

Sounds like a MAME issue rather than a Mala issue, assuming that MAME is the emulator that you are trying to launch.
Do the games work in MAME without using Mala?
Do you hear sounds from the game, or is the game not launching?
Do you know what video card or onboard video you have?
Are you using the 32-bit version of MAME?
