Ed-

I use it on a jukebox I have connected to my LAN, but I don't do any streaming with it. It's a basic jukebox suite, no streaming or anything like that. I have the folders that contain music on the juke mapped to my main PC so I can copy new tunes over to it, but that's the extent of using Wi-Fi with DWJukebox.

thk-u very much for your reply..
i can see it a tad better now..
do me a fav..post that part of your .ini for mapping..delete nessary info
ie your drive u  map to..as i can fiq that out my-self..etc..
u c i want to add it to the .ini, which if i am correct ?
stomp on me here if needed..it is coded in c++, easy enough shell to work with,
so my thought's are
i want to tie it into my main network
where 1 of the box's carry's all of mymusic >it love's that term<
so my brain get's confused on the .ini for it to look at..
i can and do run it from a stick, plus on the internal hd,but i want to add the network
and am just a tad dumb founded as to the exact cmd..from there i am flying..i think ?

Ed, actually if you map the drive on your clients to whatever network share has the music, you could then set up DWJukebox to read that share. I'll post the example when I get home.

ok so i nailed it down..
man what a trippe one,no wonder compaq and hp are going !!!broke!!!...
did some diggimg today.my brain work's that way.
but here it is if u come across it,now rember this is a laptop
if u try to excute the dwjukebox win setup file. and it fail's
in xp and or 7,chk your bios date..yes your bios date and build..
so i did on this compaq cn6220..
bios build 68dtu
bios date > 07/22/05<
guess what it is the olny build date..i scratch my head

and head to the fourm's >hp/compaq<
the write up say's roll back to
vista and or xp >not< pro just >home<..
it would then exe just fine..
both of them i detest..so i quess this lappie dose not get the juke s/w till i write a patch..

but there it is
