Title: Need some help measuring B+ voltage on Wei-ya 429H
Post by: pathfndr on August 17, 2014, 04:17:29 pm
I turned the B+ pot, I know I shouldn't have.  I thought you measured voltage from R804 and ground but i'm coming up with 85 should be close to 115. I put it back to what I remembered where it was set. Turning the pot left or right is not changing the voltage. So there must be another spot where I clip the red line. I'm also using the 200 setting to read the voltage. Hope someone has some answers thanks.

this may be an old thread, but a good place to start..
The Wei-Ya 429H chassis should be set to B+ 110v
to do this you need to ground your meter to one of the heat sinks "black lead"
then using the "red lead" find R331 (6.8K) , R332 (3.3K) & the jumper "J23" between them
set your meter to the DC range, use screw driver to adjust VR811 to 110v
