Title: groovymame linux vs windows?
Post by: Abducido on August 11, 2014, 06:06:46 pm
Excuse my English I'm using a translator, currently groovyarcade use distro and have excellent results, but as I want to make a collection of Mortal Kombat version I most want to play is the Dreamcast MKG, the same results are obtained in windows as Linux? that seem expectaculares. install windows just to add more consoles to groovyarcade Ideally you could install lxdream too.

Hi Abducido,

If you really need to use Windows emulators then use Windows. GroovyMAME for Windows works just as good as in Linux if not better, but you need to make sure to use a compatible video card. Then you may find that the card that is compatible with GroovyMAME can't support certain new emulator that requires DirectX 11 or whatever. You need to make a choice.

Thank you.

I have a ati radeon 4850 and core 2 duo 2 gigs in ram, what I love is the emulation dreamcast hopefully a new project groovyarcade be included, have controls parallel port so I can not have both systems because the wiring is good for windows linux, windows'm currently testing with hyper groovy and magical table, if not my idea but I notice a small inputlag compared to linux version, apparently in view seems to be the same.

gracias.
