Title: Arcade Joystick to PC?
Post by: garfield_Hsieh on December 09, 2003, 09:36:54 pm

I got a joystick for arcade, but without any circuit board inter face
with it. There're 5 wires from it, which should be ground and the four
directions. Now I'm trying to figure out how to attatch it to my pc but
   with much success.

I can't go from USB/ps2, because I can't find any circuit design to do
it. Maybe I can go with the keyboard by linking  the four direction
wires to W/A/S/D, but I am not quiet sure. Can anyone give me some
   suggestion? Thanks

Umm... buy a cheap joystick, take it apart, and wire the connections  together.  Each direction will have it's own point to solder to and each direction will have a ground.  You should be able to just solder the ground wire to any of those grounds.
