Title: How to search these forums

Has anybody else completely abandoned the search function on the forum in favor of google?

I find that by typing whatever I want + arcade controls into teh googlez machine gets me awesome results pronto.  Soooo I guess my comment would be is there anyway to use google to search just this site from inside this site - because whatever boolean black hoodoo they've figured out it works a shitload better than the native tool.

I use the filter functions on google a LOT.

site:<web site> <search term>

I still use the search function occasionally but yeah Google is much, much better.

     If you are searching for Jennifer, your search is over because HERE I AM !!!! ** (Dance, Wiggle, Dance ,Dance... Giggle).... Btw Goggle tracks your searches, you guys should really, try Duck Duck Go.

Yeah, I also use the "site" command as well with Google.  After clicking the result links, it allows you to hit the back button and still see your original results.  The forums need to resend the info which it a PITA when the original link you clicked on is not exactly what you are looking for.

    Its not about things to hide. Protecting your identity and getting UNCENSORED searches is however, that should be a fundamental freedom we should all enjoy.... Really, just check it out, https://duckduckgo.com/.
