Title: oscar joystick restrictor question
Post by: ts on December 09, 2003, 09:31:28 pm
i have a super joystick from happs that just isnt cutting it in 4 way mode.  i mounted my joysticks from underneath the control panel so no mounting plate or screws shows.  is there any way oscars 4 way restrictor will work somehow with this setup or am i destined to have to buy a dedicated 4 way joystick...

thanks

Not sure if they will work with that setup.  Take a look at the T-Stick from Ultimarc.

E-mail OSCAR - It's possible with that set-up if you can accurately drill the locating holes for the plates.  However, keep in mind that OSCAR ships his template plate with 1/4-inch fasteners to eliminate the "play" with 3/16-inch fasteners and you see how critical this is.

Another solution is the Omni-Stik (or Prodigy) from www.groovygamegear.com, or the J-Stik, T-Stik or E-Stik from www.ultimarc.com
