My front art is faded, busted, and disgusted. looks like this (before and after):

I decided to make new art from scratch.
Major differences between real art and mine:
Says MORTAL KOMBAT instead of MIDWAY
I added a yellow box behind the game title (a nod to MKII)
Made the 2 dragons face in like MKII, always hated that the 2 dragons faced the same way on factory art.
here's how it looks:

Here is the link to the PSD file:

if you use them, all I ask is that you post a picture of it on the cab :)

Very cool Malenko. Pretty soon you'll need to start a thread offering your services for artwork.

I was working on a custom marquee as well, but I dont feel like vectorizing the dragons that wrap around the letters. Other than that, its done

Looks great, sir!

What software did you use to recreate these photos?! I have heard people using some such as paint.net, and photoshop. You seem to have a good grasp on this software!

Dragon logos done in Illustrator, the rest done with Adobe Photoshop. I have no formal training but Ive been messing with the software for a very long time.

I use to mess around with photoshop a few ear back, I got fairly proficient at it! I would have to reteach myself the whole program again.

gist is one bean bag kept PMing me telling me putting them up was illegal, that I was "distributing copyrighted works". Honestly though the attached image up there is totes printable, I just had the PSDs up so other people could edit it to what they wanted. Same goes for my open ice art.

I like your integration of the moves list...very clever Sir!
And I agree, I think the inward facing dragons is much better!
