I am in the middle of restoring/mameing a neo geo mvs cabinet, it's looking really good, and i've done this before, just not with a neo geo. Unique to the neo geo is the marquee, and the number read out on the control panel.
1. What was the number read out for?
2. Is there a way to get it to register on a PC?
3. Is there a way to get the marquee to light up with a PC?
Im thinking there must be software, or adapter kits or something to get these to work with a pc, but I dont know what they're called, so Im at a loss for how to google it. Any answers, links or info that would help me would be greatly appreciated.

1) Credits currently on the machine (aka number of coins inserted if 1 coin = 1 credit)
2) Newp. There have been hacks, but nothing working all that great.
3) You mean have the EL Panel change via control by the PC? Not that I know of. I pulled the EL panel out of my old NeoGeo, replaced it with a florescent.

I'd PM headkaze about it, it was his software. I believed it let you keep credits between MAME games, but I dont know how it'd interface with the LED
