Anyone sell these or repos of the octagonal (Yellow?) handles. I saw an old thread about fashioning them out of wood but...

If nobody here has any, you might want to post in KLOV's Videogame - Wanted (http://forums.arcade-museum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=12&order=desc) subforum.

I have never once heard a peep about the handles being reproed.
Mystar has a little NOS stock left of the round handle style.

Huh the way these sticks sell used, it's kind of surprising no replacement of the handles are made by anyone. You can clean and lube the internals, but when the grips get scratched up and rough, (or missing) what are you supposed to do.
It's only a hunk of plastic with a screw in it, no where near as intricate as say a Tron Handle (http://"http://groovygamegear.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=91&products_id=319")(Hey Randy...)

Well, this might be karma, or maybe not, but I just posted the other day that I've got a whole dead Ikari Warriors cabinet that I was originally going to rip the sticks out of and use in my MAME cabinet, but was advised that I'd be better off selling it and using the money to buy new sticks. Although I just double-checked the cabinet and it's not Ikari Warriors, it's Time Soldiers. The game board MIGHT even work, I can't tell for sure. I hear sounds from the board when I power it on but have no way to verify it really works since the monitor is dead.
If you're interested, let me know. I guess I'd also be willing if the price were right to still just strip out the sticks and sell just the sticks.

The problem is that there is something like 4 styles of yellow handles for rotary sticks.

I'm only looking for good yellow tops.

It really seems like the only place I ever find NICE yellow tops is on really nice looking complete machines.

I'm new so I can't PM. If you're still willing, I'm really interested in these. Time Soliders and Heavy Barrel were some of my favorite games and I want to relive them with my kids. ;D :D mrjoshcarlson a.T.g.m.a.i.l.

Slight thread necromancy but relevant so I hope folks will forgive me.
I am working on creating some wood replacement tops for my snk ls-30 yellow octagon rotary handles. Is there any interest in them from other people?
