Well, after spending hours lurking around the racer cab build threads around here, I found out I want more out of a cab than I'll get from the stand-up Outrun cab...  I have this San Francisco Rush cab that I could totally work with but it actually works and needs only a monitor and a FFB board.  I feel kind of bad pillaging it  >:D >:D

What do you guys think about using this?  There's some cab damage that would need repaired and I'm not attached to the color scheme or graphics.  I was thinking get a G27 wheel and pedals installed in this mofo.

Saw this as well when I was at Mircocenter.. Didn't really get a good look at it and how it mounts... or sit in it for that matter but it did LOOK cool...

the thing I like about the rush cabs was that they kinda looked like a plasticy futuristic model 2 cab. The thing I hate about them is the lime green. I personally am not a fan of the game, so I say have at it!

That damage isn't too bad. I'd gut it and pimp it out. I'd keep the green trim too. It needs a good scrubbing.. but i don't think it looks bad.

I think I'm going to do just that.  Have to put this one on the back burner for a bit as I need to finished up two other cabs I'm working on right now; one pinball cabinet which is almost complete and a stand-up Outrun cab.  I'm starting to catch hell about by projects being strung out through the entire garage.....
