Title: Info: PS1 Modchips PS2 MCBOOTS?? or XBOX
Post by: Demon-Seed on July 05, 2014, 07:24:02 pm
Guys
I want to play my ps1 and some ps2 backups as the originals are dated and scratched.. can anyone PM best way to do this? I am so confused with PS2 mod chips vs. Mcboot etc... would be nice not to need disks.

On second thought.. what about a modded XBOX one to run ps1 games that my wii won't run? Seems to run most?? anyone?

anyone?
PM if you can help
Jim

Mcboot was frustrating.   I finally got it to work after trying 4 different USB sticks.  They only thing I could figure was the oldest stick worked better.

I can't be of more help because once I got the Mcboot running I took a break.  It's been about 3 years since then.

I am leaning towards the mod chip route for simplicity.

I McBoot'ed my PS2 a few months ago. Really really easy using a AR Max (Non-Evo) and the PS1 exploit save. Now I just run everything from the HDD (got a BBA for my Phat PS2).

Hey
Maybe the mcboot is better way to go? I like the idea of running games of a drive.. just don't think i have the time to set it all up.. just thought of a modded xbox?
