...Greets all!
....well about 26" of snow (in NJ) and a whole weekend later of total gaming (OK, not total...I watched Star Trek Insurrection and the original Battlestar Galactica both on DVD).... but I FINALLY "caught up" with all of my mame32 upgrades, GUI tests (with Emulaxian...very cool by the way); and in general dozens of games....and no I don't have kids....and my wife was busy all weekend!!!....and yes I'm 35 (an "adult").
I know I'm still into my classic games more though because I virtually ignored my Dreamcast and Xbox (both attached to my cab) and played my Cocktail and Standup for the most part.
It's so much fun to still (after almost a year) to have those "I remember that game!" moments when I choose a random game from my list.
I love mame!!!! (g-b bless Nicola!!!)

Hmmm, I'm currently (slowly) working my way through the Battlestar Galactica DVD collection I finally got! :)
I've got my PS2 hooked up to my MAME Cab and the PS2 force feedback wheel mounted on the lip of my control panel..and truth be told, even though it was just a bit of a guess, the lip and the height of the control panel is PERFECT for driving games...granted, I'm not using the pedals but stilll.
I still dont care for the driving games available on MAME...either they're too slow on my PC (Cruisin Whatever) or they require a spinner type wheel (Stocker, etc)....
Only 8" here...I remember when 8" Was alot.....until LAST YEAR...with 16" in one day....hahaha now THAT was SNOW
24"??? THats like....call out the National Guard.

...yeah, it doesn't seem like we have any "normal" weather anymore. Between record breaking drought (Summer of '02); record breaking heat (Summer of '02); record breaking rain fall (This summer '03); record breaking snow fall (March of '03) and this weekend's record breaking early/largest snowfall in over 50 years....aren't we just so lucky here on the East Coast?....oh yeah, don't forget our record breaking blackout in Aug.!!!!.....
Hooray!...we're all doomed!

No snow here (and I'm in canada!) by the way does battlestar galactica make more sense on dvd than it did on tv? It seemed like they could find planets one episode but got out of range of their ships real fast in others and then light speed once??? I guess when I was 11 I didn't care.
Now if that doesn't move this thread to "everything else" I have no idea what will ??? ;D

....to answer your question....no. It still doesn't make much sense....I watched the original TV Movie on DVD....and one second Apollo is "crying...(for about 3 seconds) about his brother Zack...and the next second he's trying to get some from a single mother!.....(she's still hot looking though!).
...and I meant to post this thread in "everything else"; my bad...sorry about that!

Oh I just love that...when you come across a game that you've totally forgotten about and loved. Kinda like finding a lost treasure!
