Title: GM with VM Maker & Hyperspin Help
Post by: Beaps on June 28, 2014, 06:12:00 am
Hi All,

Can anyone help me?

I have setup GM with the recommended 90 resolutions to enable HS to work. As soon as the HS main menu vid starts, it just resets the system. I have the codecs installed and the vids play OK outside HS.

Anyone got any ideas?

Sounds more like a Hyperspin issue... I would post this question in their forums as well if i were you..
Have you followed the guides on how to setup HS correctly?
You try re-installing it to a new folder just to make sure...
Including all the addons and videos etc..

If it was an issue with GM/VMM then HS wouldn't start at all, rather than resetting the system when the video starts...

Yet I have done that mate. Everything else works if I disable the vids.

What if you replace the main intro video with another one?

Have you tried disabling Flash hardware acceleration? The only way to disable it is to use Firefox, load a youtube video, right-click on it, then uncheck the option.

I had thought about that too, but discounted it as that usually results in a green preview screen, not a total system reset...
Oh well :)  :applaud:
