That it is!  Complete with potato cam goodness!  (Don't worry, I'm taking pics with the good camera, too)

Well that's more progress than mine. :lol

Summertime interference has been putting my hobbies on-hold lately.  I don't know how you guys in AZ survive it in that heat...

Swimming pool.  Mine's hovering around 87 degrees or so...  pretty nice to jump in when it's 109 out.

Lol.  I have 9 tons of cooling capacity spread across 2 units.  A 4 ton and a 5 ton.  My power bill in the summer is insane.

Dude, that's CRAZY. We're getting a single 2 ton installed. I can't imagine your bills. (You should move closer to the ocean. Srsly.)

Right, so, I live in the swamp by the ocean and my power bills suck too.   :'(

Holy crap. I'd ignite if I walked outside in 91°.  The high for Calgary today was like 80°ish.   I'm just going to build the rest of my cab in my basement were it's nice and cool.  (Look at that, I even converted to "American" for you folk ;D )

Dude, it was 91 in my house. It was cooler outside. Only thing was it was a torrential downpour, and my house is built with defective casement windows.

It was 94 here today. But inside the house and my office it was a nice 75.

I guess i live in the foothills of the Rockies and not the frigid-to-arid wasteland that is Ontario. I can't complain too much...

When we get Chinooks in the middle of winter all the snow melts for a week and its like plus 14°C (57.2°F).  Then there are those jerks in Vancouver/Seattle that golf 365 days of the year. Oh well...  i guess it does rain on the West Coast 362 of those days.  ;D

Sorry, WAY too off topic.

I wouldn't worry. If we had to wait for Haruman to produce content in his thread, we'd be on page 3 already.

Of course you have. That's why you have so many of those left over from your show.

What can I say, people seem to want kits, not completed bartops...

Next week I ship one to Belgium...  even though they beat us in World Cup.   :'(

Hey, now. My CNC shop just didn't actually want to focus on CNC services. It certainly wasn't me and my super-awesome designs!

You could have put FIRE under the third button as well on the CPO, as R-Type only uses two buttons.

Yeah I know...  I debated on this, decided to keep the third button there, blank, in case I swap other PCB's in.

So many that use "Force" for button two?

Please excuse the noob question - but a pcb will fit in that bartop? That's pretty rad if so.

well, to be fair it depends on the PCB. Im 99.99999% sure Tekken 4 and Gauntlet Legends wont fit in there  >:D

The Nintendo bartop is pretty roomy.  I'm pretty sure I could get a full CPS2 boardset in there...  what does a Tekken 4 or Gauntlet Legends pcb look like?
Title: Re: R-Type II Bartop (Yet another Nintendo Bartop thread)
Post by: Malenko on July 23, 2014, 09:55:03 am
well, MAYBE tekken 4:

its slightly wider than a CPS2, but shorter.

But Gauntlet Legends?

its like 3 feet long, and foot and a half wide :p

Dude. "LIFE-LIKE VIOLENCE MILD"? You're the Photoshop prodigy - you need to fix that up. I wouldn't be happy without it having some warning that you could sport a physical injury from just playing the game.

Yeah... I was thinking about taking some black acrylic and hitting those slots, and wiping the excess off the melamine.
