Title: question on discharge
Post by: staffell on June 26, 2014, 11:22:14 am
HI all,

I have Wells Gardner D9800 Monitor I might be looking to replace.  Can I assume I need to manually discharge it to remove it?  Or does it by chance auto discharge?  I can't seem to find the info and want to be sure.

thanks.

Be careful.  Discharging is extremely dangerous and very difficult to do.  If you touch the wrong part of the monitor, you will die instantly.

Thanks.

I have done it before on a different monitor that came with the cabinet.  I just believe the d9800 auto discharges and wanted to see if anyone knew for sure.

oy vey.

... anyways

don't bother discharging unless you plan on disassembling the boards off it. if you are just taking it out...just take it out.

Just don't try and take it out while it's plugged in and you'll do fine.

Jim...hey...Jim...Jim...hey Jim...hey...

I'm at that point in my life where i don't even discharge any more.

...also I don't discharge the monitors. because i'm also at that part in my life.
